April Fool's!!

Please excuse the late blogging… “It’s never just one thing, but it’s always something.”

April 1st is a day where people open up their prank bags to release the madness on friends and family. It’s already been one of those days. For me it’s already been one of those many days… Ugh.

So to all those out there pranking their loved ones, getting revenge on friends by getting them back in some way for prior Fool’s Day tricks, and really sticking it to co-workers with some foul antics and hoaxes… Best of luck and hopefully you manage to keep your significant others, friends, and jobs in the end.

For those who haven’t got a clue here are some good ones… Classics.

1- Bug Off – Purchase some realistic insects prior to April 1st and place the creepy crawlers in ice cubes, socks, shoes, food, etc.
2 - Get the ugliest most disgusting temporary tattoo and wear it proudly to work.
3 - Spray It - Put a rubber band around the kitchen sink’s sprayer and wait until someone turns the water on.
4 - Crank it – Turn up the volume as high as it can go on someone’s computer or radio before they turn it on.
5 - Stick It - Attach magnets to a large cup, place the cup on the hood or roof of the car and take off.
6 - Fill someone’s car with balloons.
7 -Fake Parking Tickets - Print out this printable parking citation and leave on an unsuspecting friend’s vehicle and follow it up with a fake delinquent notice.
8 - What a Doll! - If you happen to have a blow-up doll hanging around, put it in a pal’s vehicle. Or dress her up, strap her in the passenger seat and go for a spin!
9 - Put some powder on top of the ceiling fan blades or in a blowdryer and wait for someone to turn it on!
10 - Put a sheet or two of plastic-wrap over the toilet seat.

I once pranked an ex pretty good on April Fool's Day by having my sister who was pregnant take a pregnancy test for me and then I shared with him the “good” news. Never saw anyone turn bright white then burnt red, so quickly in my life! Best prank to this day. Poor guy...

Sorry this blog had nothing to do with snowmobiling… but considering it’s a holiday I figured it was OK.

Starting this week, we will be reducing our blogging to once a week for snowmobiling, and mostly I will be hitting ATV events and hanging out on dirt roads getting muddy and enjoying the warmth of the sun, the squealing of rubber, and even some boating and motorcycle chatter. Once the season approaches and starts back up in full swing… we’ll go back to twice a week. Thanks for reading and continuing to check out our events and fun! More to come so stay tuned!

Also, this week… we will be starting up our ADK Trail Map’s blog at! I’ll be blogging there about hiking, biking, fishing, paddling, camping… everything serene and relaxing in our beautiful Adirondack Park. So if you’re into that kind of stuff… head to the site Friday and Breezy’s Backpacking Blog should be up and rolling!

Until next time…

… aaaand that’s a braaaap!
